You can never have enough recipes for clean energy balls! But what you can have enough of, is clean energy balls made with loads of expensive ingredients.
Today I am sharing with you my simple recipe which contains 3 ingredients – dates, ground nuts (whichever you have in your cupboard) and desiccated coconut. Yep that is it and actually you can even skip the nuts if you are allergic and just use the dates and coconut, you will just have to work a tiny bit harder to create the ball shapes.
- 2 cups medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 5 min in hot water
- ¼ cup ground hazelnuts or any other nuts (this is optional)
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut + extra for coating
