Cadbury Egg Cupcake Recipe

Cadbury Creme Egg Cupcakes are very easy to make. Don’t let my long drawn out recipe instructions scare you off. The short version goes like this. Bake chocolate cupcakes, stuff a mini Cadbury Creme Egg inside, frost said cupcake with chocolate frosting, top with some green sprinkles (grass) and stick another mini Cadbury Creme Egg on top.

Homemade Chocolate Cupcakes

I made homemade chocolate cupcakes but you can use a box of your favorite chocolate cake mix. I also made homemade Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting but you can use store bought canned chocolate frosting.

Or you could use canned green frosting and skip the sprinkles all together.

A few words about homemade Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting. MAKE IT! Homemade chocolate butter cream frosting is awesome.
