The other day I was sitting at my computer, hard at work, when I received an email boasting low airfares for trips to Barcelona from London (I never unsubscribed from RyanAir after studying abroad). Ugh, I want to go back. Anyway, it got me reminiscing about last April.
Most English Universities give their students a month for spring break. It’s the most wonderful thing on the planet! I took full advantage of the month and traveled to Nice (France), Santorini (Greece), and Barcelona (Spain). I had the time of my life and gained the last 10 lbs of my study abroad weight partaking in some of the most delicious cuisine I’ve ever tasted. 99% of that food was in Santorini. From the mousaka to the gyros topped with tzatziki, I was constantly in a state of fullness (my friends and I even named our “food babies”, that’s how much we ate), and I don’t regret a single bite.
