Ingredients

  • 160 grams sprouted moong beans, 1 heaped cup sprouted moong beans
  • 2 small potatoes/aloo
  • 1 small tomato or ¼ cup diced tomato
  • 1 small to medium onion or ⅓ cup chopped onions
  • ½ inch ginger/adrak, finely chopped
  • 6 to 8 garlic/lahsun, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili/hari mirch, chopped
  • 1.5 tsp goda masala or ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder/dhania powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder/jeera
  • ½ tsp red chili powder/lal mirch powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder/haldi
  • a pinch of asafoetida/hing (optional)
  • 1.5 tbsp oil
  • 1 to 1.25 cups water or add as required
  • 1 to 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • salt as required
