Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups poha, thick variety (flattened or parched rice)
  • ¼ to ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 or 2 green chilies/hari mirch, chopped
  • 2 tbsp peanuts/mungfali
  • 1 medium potato/aloo, chopped into small cubes
  • 1 medium onion/pyaaz, finely chopped
  • ¾th tsp mustard seeds/rai
  • ¾th tsp cumin seeds/jeera
  • 8 to 9 curry leaves/kadi patta
  • 2 to 3 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves/dhania patta
  • 2 to 2.5 tbsp oil
  • sugar as required ( i usually add up to 1 tsp of sugar)
  • salt as required
