Ms. Freda Ehmann was the mastermind behind the creation of the California black olive. We’re celebrating Ms. Ehman’s innovation with a slight twist on the classic dirty martini. If it weren’t for her willingness to try something different and new, the olive business wouldn’t be the same, and this simple and sophisticated cocktail would exist only in our dreams.
3 ounces vodka
1 ounce California black olive juice
¼ teaspoon dry vermouth
3 California black olives for garnish
Directions : Fill a martini shaker with ice. Add the vodka, black olive juice, and dry vermouth. Shake for several seconds to mix, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with black olives and serve.
