Korean Meatball Sliders

These delicious Korean Meatball Sliders are a 15-minute dish that your family will devour!

This post is sponsored by Cooked Perfect. All opinions are my own. There’s a restaurant near me that serves Waygu beef sliders…and I have become obsessed. Sliders are the perfect three-bite, no-utensils-required dish…right?? Tons of flavor without much fuss. As a busy mom, I can tell you that easy meals like that are very welcome.

Cooked Perfect® Fresh Meatballs are the perfect size for sliders. They come in four flavors: Italian Style Beef & Pork, Korean BBQ Beef & Pork, Sundried Tomato & Roasted Garlic Chicken, and Italian Style with Parmesan & Mozzarella Chicken. It was tough to decide what flavor to try first, but once the idea for these Korean Meatball Sliders hit me, I knew that Korean BBQ Beef & Pork were up first. They have a terrific flavor on their own and make a great simple appetizer. We taste-tested with friends by heating them and serving on toothpicks as-is; everyone thought the flavors were delicious!

Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs are just that: fresh but NOT frozen. This is a huge sell for me because I can just take them out of the package with no remembering to thaw them in advance. We all agreed they have a fresher taste, too! They’re fully cooked right out of the package and have no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Not to mention they’re flame-broiled for even more flavor AND heat in just minutes with the included microwave steam pouch!

These Korean Meatball Sliders start with the Korean BBQ Beef & Pork Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs. I make a quick sauce since every good slider always has a tasty sauce. I made a quick Katsu sauce, or Tonkatsu, which is an asian-style barbecue sauce. It’s extremely fast and simple to make, not to mention it really complements the flavors of these meatballs. I finish it with slices from mini-cucumbers, and these are a MUST. The crunch and fresh cucumber flavor really brings it all together!

For a bun, I picked up some Gua Bao, which are soft Taiwanese “hamburger” buns, although I’ve heard them called “pork belly buns”, too (and I’ve had pork belly on them…don’t miss it if you have the chance). Any asian market will carry them and my local store keeps them in stock, too. You’ll usually find them in the frozen section. They’re simple to use, simply pop them in the microwave with a spritz of water. They’re warm and SO soft. You’ll love them. My girls even put peanut butter and jelly on them!

My other favorite Cooked Perfect® Fresh Meatballs flavor is the Italian Style with Parmesan & Mozzarella Chicken. SO good!! We used them over a simple spaghetti and marinara dish the other evening. I know it’s something I’ll use again when everyone cleans their plate and no one is saying much during dinner because they’re too busy eating :) I also made them as appetizers with a simple balsamic glaze. I served that to some friends who were in town visiting; we all agreed they need to made again and again. I’ll be sharing that recipe with you soon! I know you’ll love it, so be sure to pick up some delicious Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs the next time you’re shopping (Find a store here). You can Find Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs in the refrigerated meat and poultry section. Save $1.00 off Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs, too!
