Hi, friends! It’s December — woohoo! This is such a fun time of year (especially with a house full of kids), and I love adding simple traditions and treats to our normal routine to make the season magical for everyone. Whether it’s an advent calendar, an afternoon of cookie decorating, or hot cocoa while watching The Polar Express, these little moments all add up to create a holiday season of joy!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French baguette, sliced diagonally into 1-inch thick rounds
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 T. light corn syrup
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk (whole milk is best, but 2% is okay as well. Just don’t use skim because you need the fat for the custard)
  • ½ cup Dunkin Donuts Extra Extra coffee creamer
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
