Daily Greens Smoothie 2 c. leafy greens (spinach, kale, chard, dandelion greens...whatever you can get your hands on!) 1/3 c. frozen berries (blueberries, blackberries, or mixed berries) 1/2 of a small/medium apple, or 1/3 of a large apple (depends on what you can find) 1/2 T ground flax seed small nub of ginger (about the size of a quarter) a few ice cubes splash of apple juice (Trader Joe's unfiltered organic apple juice is the best, and the best value too) splash of coconut milk splash of water Toss all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. We prefer ours to be on the juicy side of the smoothie spectrum. If you like a thicker smoothie, simply experiment with more frozen berries and ice until you hit the jackpot.
