Before I started cooking fish at home regularly, it was a meal I usually reserved for weekends. I’m not quite sure why. Though, my best guess is simply because cooking seafood wasn’t totally in my comfort zone. I sort of assumed it was fussy, time consuming, and, well, mostly I just wasn’t sure of what I was doing.

- 1/4 cup white miso paste
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
