The hubby loves his lemon desserts, but gives lime the cold shoulder. Really??? I love, love Key lime pie…the tart and creamy filling in a sweet graham cracker crust. But I cannot make a whole pie for myself, can I???? Nope. But I hosted book club last month and made these delectable Key Lime Pie Bars. Citrusy squares topped with sweetened whipped cream and a slice of lime. SO good!!!
I know many of you have been waiting for this recipe since I posted my teaser last month. Well, do I have a special treat for you. I’m introducing you to my friend, Kayle, who is the blogger (and wonderful baker!) behind The Cooking Actress. Cute, young, funny and newly engaged, Kayle has just moved from New York City to Ohio. She has a LOT on her plate during this transition, so I offered to share a recipe on her blog. You’ll have to pop over and say hello to my friend and check out the recipe. I loved these sweet and tangy gems, and so will you!
