There was a moment of glee when I ripped open the package containing Meagan Micozzi’s The New Southwest: Classic Flavors with a Modern Twist. Back in my early blogging days, I started visiting Meagan’s blog, Scarletta Bakes, for a few giggles, cooking tips and always for top notch Southwest recipes. Meagan has entertained while teaching us the tricks of this cuisine through her blog for years. And now she was offering a slew of all new recipe in her very own cookbook…and I was given the opportunity write a The New Southwest Cookbook Review.
