Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

About a week after I whipped these up for dessert, the hubby, in a most serious tone, commented, “You know that skillet cookie you made? You can make it again anytime.” He is a chocolate chip cookie aficionado…and they must be chewy and chock full of chocolate chips. Semi-sweet preferred. This was not rocket science; an easy recipe in a new vessel. The thick wedges appeared a bit doughy…I would have baked them a couple more minutes, but Bill was not concerned. When he sees me snacking on cookie dough, he’s certain I’ll have an attack of salmonella within the hour. But this rich Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie was apparently not under-cooked enough to draw alarm.
