  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ¼ salt
  • 1 package dry active yeast (Red Star Yeast preferred)
  • 2⅔-3 cups flour (I used King Arthur Flour Unbleached White Whole Wheat)
  • ⅔ cups milk
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • Raspberry Filling
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Powdered Sugar Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon milk (or more if needed)
