This year we're having Christmas at our new house in Texas so that leaves all the cookie baking up to me!br /br /In addition to the family favorites, I decided to start keeping a Christmas cookie list. And let me tell you, if I get through just half my list I'm going to be pretty busy over these next three weeks!br /br /I went through most of my cookbooks, browsed the internet and marked all my magazines for the best cookies out there, but while perusing the grocery isles this holiday season I was totally thrown with all the new Hershey's kisses out there.br /br /Even though I went to the store for Peanut Butter Blossom ingredients (and I still want to make them eventually) I came across these Candy Cane Kisses and couldn't help myself.br /br /So after a quick change of plans I went with the same concept, but entirely different flavors.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/wYbvxHALhwQ/TPwjD5Xpj8I/AAAAAAAABgs/Z4T96I5MnUk/s1600/candycanecookies.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" height="319" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/wYbvxHALhwQ/TPwjD5Xpj8I/AAAAAAAABgs/Z4T96I5MnUk/s320/candycanecookies.jpg" width="320" //a/divbr /bCandy Cane Kisses Cookies/bbr /Oven: 350 Bake time: 10 minutesbr /Makes about 3 dozen cookiesbr /br /1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softenedbr /1/2 cup criscobr /1 cup sugarbr /1 eggbr /1 tsp vanillabr /2 cups AP flourbr /1 tsp baking powderbr /1/4 tsp saltbr /2 TBS cocoa i(I used Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa)/ibr /36 Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses, unwrappedbr /br /Preheat oven to 350.
