Date-alicious Dips and snacks!

While dates might be one of the most naturally sweet and amazing foods I know, in their common form, my kids aren’t much of a date fan.  But when I use dates in foods, they always approve.

Dates are a great benefit for your family!

Dates are:

A great source of fiber! 5 dates have almost 4 grams of fiber

They are sweet without any added sugars.

They are dense with energy and perfect for kids who don’t eat much or for long road trips or hikes.

They are cholestrol free, and sodium, free, and a good source of potassium.


  • 10 whole pitted dates
  • 1 TBL water
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt.
