Whether you can say yes to any of those questions or not, this recipe is perfect for a family, for a special breakfast on the weekend and even just to make ahead and freeze for during the week!
These make very LARGE waffles so really half of one is all you really need. But if you or the kids are feeling indulgent enjoy the whole thing, with syrup or without.
- 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon powdered stevia
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 ounces unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups buttermilk
