My husband LOVES Oreos. There is nothing better to him than an oreo dipped in chocolate. My Mother-in-Law made these White Chocolate Dipped Oreos for Christmas last year instead of her traditional Oreo Truffles. Now I have to admit that my husband was slightly disappointed however it didn’t seem to slow him down enjoying them This sweet treat is so easy to make and you can use any variety of oreo and chocolate. You can also decorate them with sprinkles!
Melt White Chocolate Coating or Almond Bark according to the package directions in the microwave or in a double boiler. Dip Oreos into the white coating and lay to dry on a piece of wax paper. My Mother-in-Laws tip is to then dip them a 2nd time! This is what gets the smooth edge. You can also sprinkle with sprinkles or even nuts! You can make these in a variety of colors too (use an oil based food coloring not liquid)
