This is a great change from every day pizza! I made these up for the kids the other night and they loved them… and so did I! They’re super easy to make and come out so light and airy! The texture was definitely not what I expected, they were so much fluffier!
I added red pepper and pepperoni but you can definitely add in your favorite toppings. If you decide to add in veggies (such as mushrooms) with a high water content, be sure to cook them first.
- ¾ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup shredded cheese, (mozza or cheddar, I used a mix)
- ¾ cup pepperoni, chopped
- ½ red pepper finely diced
- ¾ teaspoon oregano
- ½ cup store-bought pizza sauce
