Winter is the time for warmer, more comforting foods. We’re not actually meant to be consuming heaps of salads and raw vegetables this time of year – especially if you live in a cooler climate, like me. I don’t know about you, but my body tells me to warm up and the only way to do this (other than through jacking the heat and layering my clothing) is by eating warming foods. Think roasted vegetables, comforting soups and savory dishes. I love this time of year.
