- 4 teaspoons whole cardamom pods
- 2 teaspoons whole pink peppercorns
- 2 whole star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup granulated sugar
