When summer hits and all the fresh basil is in the garden you have to make ** HOMEMADE PESTO SAUCE** !!!
- 2 cups basil (leaves should be firmly packed in measuring cup)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ¼ cup pine nuts
- ⅔ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp salt (or more to taste)
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ Parmesan cheese, grated
