Easy Healing Broth + Soup Recipe

I’m offering a vegan broth and a bone broth recipe today. I use bone broth once in a while in my soups. My Naturopath recommended it (and my reading and research supported it), and since I’m up for experimenting and I want to be well, I took her up on it. Broths are very rich in minerals from the vegetables (and meat) that you cook into the water. They have been used for thousands of years for healing. I alway have broth in the freezer ready to use for soups, I use both vegan and bone broths, depending on my or my families needs.

 

RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 5 small potatoes, diced
  • 1 fennel bulb, sliced
  • 1/2 celery bulb, diced
  • 6 stalks of celery, diced
  • 5 carrots, diced
  • 1 Bunch Kale, chopped
  • 1 thumb of ginger, diced
  • 1 garlic bulb, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon pepper of choice
