Yerba Mocha Latte

Yerba Mocha Latte

I’ve been making this delicious and energizing drink for the past few mornings, it’s been quite cold out the past couple of days and kind of rainy. I love a good warming drink in the morning and I really love a little energy boost. I’m still nursing my son and I sometimes need a little help with energy. I’m not willing to drink coffee because I know how it effects me and I think it would probably effect him in a negative way. I am okay with doing Mate and I’ve been watching to see how it effects him, so far no issues at all. I only drink one cup a day and the caffeine levels are about 70mg per cup.

Yerba Mate is a great alternative to coffee, it’s loaded with antioxidants, less acidic than coffee and give you a stable energy without the dreaded 3:00 O’clock crash. Cacao is a great superfood with lots of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. You can buy both of these at your local health food store or purchase them online.
