Keeping it Simple with Easy Chocolate Truffles

Keeping it Simple with Easy Chocolate Truffles

This year we didn’t do gifts, best idea ever. It made our Christmas so much more relaxed and heartfelt, it brought it back to what it’s all about; love, family, friends, and giving to those in need. We decided as a family that we won’t be doing gift any longer, not even for the baby. We’ll do a trip together or we’ll throw a fun holiday party…basically we’ll do something that brings us together as a family and doesn’t contribute to the CRAZY consumer culture.  Here are my ideas for a simple holiday

Get a living tree that you can plan

Don’t make your own decorations out of recycled things in your home

Make your won wrapping paper if you are giving gifts, (a great guest post on my blog here)

Don’t do mass gifts, make your own or bake/cook for someone

Make the holiday about giving to those in need by doing something charitable

Go somewhere instead of getting things

Make these truffles and gift them to your friends and family

  • 16 oz sweetened vegan chocolate chips
