As Autumn comes around the corner I thought I’d share a few of my eco friendly must haves for the colder weather. It’s my favorite time of year and my excitement is hard to contain! There is something so homey and comforting when the weather starts to change; the chill in the air, the leaves changing colors, the fire places being used, the squashes being baked. I truly look forward to it every year. Here are a couple of my favorite products for this Fall and a aromatic recipe for you to enjoy!
A FEW OF MY MUST HAVES FOR FALL 2013
HANDMADE BEESWAX CANDLES by POLLEN ARTS
These are beautiful handmade candles from Flagstaff, Arizona by Peter and Juwels, a husband and wife team. They smell absolutely divine.
Our inspiration comes from the great delight that we get from sharing. Whether it’s a new type of food, a piece of music, or a special tint in the sky, the instinct is always to nudge the person next to you and say, “Check it out!”. Creating things is just a wider reaching nudge.
These beautiful candles are great for a gift for others or a gift for yourself. I love burning them while I’m in the bath or right before I go to sleep.
Check out their lovely Etsy store here.
VEGAN 100% NATURAL SKIN CARE BY TATA HARPER
When the weather starts to changes it’s important to take care of you skin. It can go into shock from a rabid change in humidity and climate. My personal favorite skin care line is Tata Harper. It’s pure, cleans and WORKS! Within two weeks of using this serum I could feel and see a change in my skin. This is a must have for me all year long.
VEGAN DESIGNER HANDBAGS by MATT & NAT
The idea behind MAT(T)ERIAL and NATURE was originally conceived in 1995 as an exploration into the concept of duality. Can we feel passionate about product and design and yet still be driven by that which can not be experienced through the five senses…love.
