Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins (golden or regular)
  • 1 cup wheat bran
  • 1 and 3/4 cup whole-wheat flour (spooned & leveled)
  • 1 tsp. coarse salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup packed dark-brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can (20 ounce) pineapple chunks, drained & chopped
