I will be sharing recipes to use up holiday leftovers over the next couple of weeks. Today, I am going to start by sharing a few of my favorite leftover turkey recipes.
While I clean up the kitchen, my husband carves up the turkey. He divides the meat up into useable portions and places some in the fridge for our immediate use and some in the freezer to enjoy later.
After all the meat has been removed, I use the turkey bones to create * Turkey Broth in a Slow Cooker * . Once I have the broth made, I am ready to use it as a base in many of the recipe below. If you don’t have time to make broth shortly after Thanksgiving, you can always freeze the bones and make it at a more convenient time.
