Glorious Beans – Pinquinto Beans, Road Trip

I had one of those experiences where you feel like a bothersome puzzle piece just fell into place.  I found some Pinquinto beans at a wonderful market called Phipps in Pescadero, California.  I thought they sounded vaguely familiar and sure enough I was right.  These little red beauties are unique to Santa Maria Valley, in California and are considered critical part of the Santa Maria barbecue.  T
