The 2013 Brooklyn Meatball Takedown takes place Sunday, Jan. 27 at The Bell House (149 7th Street). Last month’s ”Takedown” cooking competition was cookie-themed and to kick off 2013, event producer Matt Timms has collected 30 local chefs will serve up their best meatballs for attendees to taste and vote. Tickets are $15. The event starts at 2 p.m.
