Kurmura Laddu or sweet crisp rounds of puffed rice/rice crispy cereal and chopped almond in a syrupy jaggery mixture, is an Indian equivalent of the famous rice crispy treats in western countries. They make an adorable dessert or snack, served on mini cupcake liners.
- ½ cup jaggery (can be replaced with sugar, if required)
- 1 cup puffed rice or rice crispy cereal
- ¼ cup chopped/sliced almond
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
