As our fish tales continue, we turn to the Irish for a bit of culinary luck! Since meeting my Irish beau, I have learned a few things about Irish heritage, and, yes, some of those things have been quite tasty! A full Irish breakfast is definitely nothing to spit at, and brown bread, an Irish staple, can be quite tasty when served with Irish butter ( found at specialty grocers and Whole Foods Markets). In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, I bring you a quick and easy Irish Brown (Soda) Bread recipe. My serving suggestion is Lent-friendly and authentically Irish!
