Ingredients

  • 1 can [15 oz] black beans or refried black beans
  • ½ cup roasted salsa verde
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce [start with one then add another to taste]
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • a pinch of cumin, to taste
  • a pinch of salt, to taste
  • pico de gallo:
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • ½ cup diced tomato
  • ⅛-1/4 cup diced jalapeno [optional but awesome!]
  • fresh cilantro, to taste
  • fresh lime juice, to taste
  • a pinch of salt
  • extras:
  • tortilla chips and veggie sticks for dipping
