Healthy, scrumptious and festive blackened fish tacos with onions, cabbage, avocado and a tasty jalapeño-cilantro sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup thinly sliced white onion
  • 1 cup shredded or very thinly sliced red cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves plus extra leaves for garnish
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon light cooking oil
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 lime wedges
