Warm Chipotle Cheddar Beer Dip for Father’s Day (and every party after that).

Father’s Day is coming up and given that I’m never one to shun a good stereotype—well, only ones that give me an excuse to eat THIS—I’m making a Warm Chipotle Cheddar Beer Dip that every dad will love.
Because dads and spicy and beer, of course.
Okay, I’m joking about the whole every-dad-loves-spicy-food-and-beer thing, because we all know that everyone loves spicy food and beer.
This decadent dip is easy to make and so full of bold flavor that you might end up serving it on Mother’s Day and your birthday, too. Because this is pretty much a winning party recipe for any celebration.
- 3 tablespoons salted butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup beer (lager or ale)
- 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- Chipotles, to taste
- Salt, to taste
