This one is definitely not a joke: I never thought it’d happen, but like many of my fellow bloggers who jump at the chance of pumpkin-everything once October hits, I think the pumpkin craze may be dissipating for yours truly.
- 2 2/3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- assorted autumn sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
