I kicked off the weekend with another fabulous Baked Breakfast Cake experiment.
Apple Pie Baked Breakfast Cake
Ingredients: 1/2 cup hazelnuts (filberts).1/2 cup almonds.1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not instant).3/4 cup sweetened soy yogurt OR applesauce (see note below!).2 t pure vanilla extract.1 Tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup (Optional, mine didn’t need it).2 t cinnamon.Pinch fine sea salt.1 T chia seeds (optional).1 scoop Manitoba harvest Vanilla Hemp Protein Powder (optional).1 and 1/4 cups unsweetened almond, soy, rice, hemp milk.1 apple, peeled and cut into chunks.Oats for garnish.Maple syrup to drizzle over top once served
