For those following along, we are doing a Utah Travel Series: 50 Reasons to Visit Utah in the Summertime. Last month we covered Park City, this month we covered Salt Lake City, and this fall we will be covering our National Parks, as well as the St. George and Utah County area. If you are looking for a getaway for summer of 2015, I highly recommend looking into what Utah has to offer.
One thing I highly recommend when visiting Salt Lake City is the Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass. Our family had SO MUCH FUN with ours this summer. There were some of those places we would have never gone to (due to price or lack of interest), but because it was a part of our pass we made the effort to go. If you get the 3-day pass, it’s not likely that you can fit it all in, but you can definitely hit quite a few of them. We had 3 days in SLC, and due to a visit to the Urgent Care that took up the majority of one of our days, we were only able to visit the Hogle Zoo, Discovery Gateway, Thanksgiving Point, The Leonardo, and This is the Place Heritage Park. I DEFINITELY recommend the 365-day connect pass if you are local (or if you visit frequently).
