Simple and Convenient Rhodes Meal Size Freezer Dinner Rolls slathered with homemade Cinnamon-Vanilla Honey Butter. 🍯
Raise your hand if you love fresh, hot, fluffy dinner rolls on your holiday table? I know I do and my family enjoys fresh rolls just as much. The only problem for me is most times I forget to make the yeast roll dough. That's where these Freezer Dinner Roll Pans come into play.
I used my favorite Rhodes Frozen Yeast Dinner Rolls and a few of my favorite freezer pans to make simple convenient meal size freezer rolls. I know what you're thinking..... Rhodes dinner rolls are already frozen and convenient, so what's so special about this method?
Well, let me tell you this make ahead method is simple, convenient, and makes perfectly portioned grab and go pan rolls. I like to use my favorite round 9 inch disposable baking pans with lids from my local Dollar Tree. I can get three pans with lids for just $1 and they're the perfect size for dinner rolls.
Once assembled all I have to do is grab a pan of rolls out of the freezer, place them in a warm place to thaw, rise and bake. This delicious flavored butter is perfect to brush on baked dinner rolls or slathered inside the rolls after they're baked and still warm. This cinnamon-vanilla honey, butter adds the perfect touch of cinnamon and honey flavor to these dinner rolls. Here's how I make my freezer pan rolls.
This is what you'll need: 24 Rhodes frozen dinner rolls, 3 - 9 inch disposable aluminum pans with lids, sharpie pen, non stick baking spray, honey, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, real butter.
Spray three disposable round pans with non stick baking spray.
Remove 24 Rhodes dinners rolls and arrange 8 dinner rolls per pan.
Add the lid to each pan, crimp edges, and write the date and baking temp on each lid. Place the pans in the freezer until ready to use. On the day you want to serve and bake the rolls, remove one or more pans from the freezer.
Spray a piece of plastic wrap with non stick baking spray and cover the rolls. Place the rolls in a warm place (for me that is the oven) and let rise until double in size (about 4 hours). I did the speed rise method (see directions at the end of the recipe) so I didn't cover the rolls.
When the rolls have risen brush Preheat oven to 350 degrees and brush the risen rolls lightly with and egg white (to make the rolls shine).
Place the rolls in preheated oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. As soon as the rolls come out of the oven brush them with a bit of the cinnamon-vanilla honey butter.
Serve warm with additional whipped cinnamon-vanilla honey butter spread.

- 24 - Rhodes frozen Dinner Rolls (do not thaw)
- 3 - 9 inch round disposable pans with board lids
- 1 - egg white, optional
