  • 2 tablespoons fresh minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Pinch cayenne pepper, optional
  • One 32-ounce carton all-natural vegetable broth (4 cups)
  • 2 cups carrot juice
  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 small 10-ounce sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
