Tender leaves of cabbage stuffed and rolled with beef, garlic, onion and rice, simmered in a rich tomato sauce
Very similar to my recipe, except I add white not brown sugar,and I also add diced apple to the meat. I do simmer mine stove top. I line the bottom of the pot with cabbage leaves to prevent rolls from scorching.
