Ingredients

  • 250 g (8.93 oz) ricotta cheese
  • 200 g (7.14 oz) plain yogurt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 200 g (7.14 oz) butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 25 g fresh yeast or 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 500 g (18 oz) all purpose flour
  • Parmesan cheese and/or Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • caraway seeds, optional
  • 1 egg for brushing
