Good morning! Or perhaps it is evening, depending on where you are. Either way, I hope you are ready for a brand new recipe. I explained in my previous post a bit about what I have been up to recently and why I have not posted for such a long time, so I will not go into any details on that here. Instead I will tell you about how I am super excited to be sharing this recipe with you all!
The season for raspberries has once again arrived, which has forever been my favorite. My mother would always take me and my sisters berry picking during the summer, whether it would be strawberries, blueberries or raspberries that was in season. There is something completely unique about freshly picked berries, one that simply needs to be experienced in order to be understood.
- 2 cups raw nuts (I used half and half of almonds and cashews) *
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- a pinch of maldon salt
