Not the questionable, fried, and frozen nuggets that seem synonymous with the name. But the homemade, healthier, and delicious nuggets that you can make with endless variations at home! Such a fun way to serve chicken, and of course, always a favorite with kiddos!
One of my recent successful experiments was coating nuggets with Pretzel Crisps . You know – those flat crispy pretzel chips that come in a zillion irresistible flavors? Yep, they were perfect for this recipe. And then fun part was that instead of adding in extra spices, you can just use the seasoning of whichever flavor you like to make the nuggets! I tried a batch with their Buffalo Style, and then with the Jalapeno Jack, and loved the extra kick from both. Totally easy, and totally tasty. These little guys disappeared in a snap.
