Sunday mornings are made for delicious breakfasts. As a working mommy of two, I have a hard time making breakfast during the school/work week and live for the weekends so I can take my time making breakfasts and have a little fun in the kitchen. For this week’s Mini Chef Mondays I am sharing one of our favorites, kid friendly egg in a hole.
This weekend we had a visiting mini chef! My nephew, Trevor, spent the night at our house. My boys just gush over their older cousin and he easily fits right into our crazy, little crew. We just love him and the fact that he is a little foodie – and doesn’t mind jumping into the kitchen with us – makes him perfect for Mini Chef Mondays.
- 1 slice of bread (white, wheat, whole grain - we used whole grain white)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
