Baking with beer: filled beer bread buns

These beer bread buns are so good, so soft and fluffy, that I just couldn't resist. I think I ate 5 of them straight from the oven, while they were still hot.

Ingredients

  • 3 2/3 cups flour (480 g)
  • 1/4 cup milk (60 ml) lukewarm
  • 1 package dry yeast (7 g)
  • 1/3 cup + 1tbsp vegetable oil (100 ml)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup beer (250 ml)
  • 2 smoked sausages
  • 1/2 cup cheddar (or any other cheese you like)
  • 1/3 cup black olives
  • 1 egg to brush (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
