Last week we boxed up the last of our things, shoved them into our little Scion and headed east for a three day road trip to Michigan. My companions on this trip? A white maltipoo named Dallas & my lovely 2 year old daughter Lily – and a Bob Seger CD. The trip totaled a little over 27 hours of driving and I decided to break it into three days. Below is a summary of each day and my subsequent findings of driving with a dog that toddler across the country.
Day One; We drive approximately seven hours and we make it through Utah and onto Wyoming. Overall it’s a pretty successful drive – We arrive to our hotel around 7 PM we have plenty of time to get pizza for dinner and swim in the hotel pool.
