Mint Muddled Lemonade

Mint Muddled Lemonade

Yield: 1 lemonade. Easily doubles, triples, etc

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 cup cold, filtered water

4 tbsp simple syrup

ice

2 tbsp packed mint leaves + more for garnish

Directions:

Place the mint in the bottom of a glass or pitcher. Use a muddler or stiff kitchen tool to crush up the mint leaves and release their flavor. Add the lemon juice, water, and syrup. Let it steep for 15 minutes, then taste to make sure it has enough minty flavor for your tastes. If it does, remove the mint, then add additional fresh mint leaves for garnish. If you want more mint flavor, add another set of muddled mint. Serve over ice and enjoy!
