Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized round eggplants or long Chinese eggplants, sliced in long strips or cubed – whatever way you want it
  • 2-4 dried red chilli pepper (or as many or as little as you want. may deseed them if you want less spicy)
  • 1/4 cup posto/poppy seeds
  • 1 green chilli pepper, slit
  • 1.5 – 2  teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon oil + 1 tablespoon pure mustard oil to drizzle
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon kalonji/nigella
