Ingredients

  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 overripe bananas
  • ¼ cup unrefined coconut oil
  • ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ¾ cup coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ¾ cup whole wheat pastry flour (or ½ cup whole wheat flour + ¼ cup unbleached all-purpose flour)
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup raisins
